Saving, exporting and sharing a search

Updated August 27, 2026

On this page

A search result set lives in cache for about an hour. Saving it makes it permanent.

From the results toolbar, choose Save. The query, countries, classes and the result set are stored under Searches in the main navigation.

You can also select individual marks first and use Save selected to keep just those.

The saved-search list

/searches lists everything you have kept: created date, the query, countries, classes and your notes. The row menu (⋯) offers:

  • Start assessment — carry this query straight into the assessment wizard.
  • Create monitoring — turn it into a recurring watch.
  • Delete.

The detail page

Opening a saved search shows the full stored result set, plus:

  • Info card — trademark, countries, classes, date and result count.
  • Notes — a free-text field that saves itself a moment after you stop typing. Use it for the reasoning behind a decision; it is what makes a saved search useful six months later.
  • Data coverage — which registers were searched for each country, and how current each one is.

Downloading

Download offers PDF Document or Word Document. The export contains the search scope and the full result list, formatted for sending on.

Share opens a popover with a switch. Turn it on and you get a read-only public link — anyone with the URL can open the results without a Demarka account. Turn it off to withdraw it.

Two things to know about share links:

  • Withdrawing is permanent for that URL. Sharing again creates a different link, so the old one never starts working again.
  • Shared pages show the results only, and carry your firm’s branding if your plan includes white-label.

Plan requirements

Saving searches and taking notes is available on every plan.

Exporting and sharing search results requires a paid plan. On the Free plan both buttons are visible but disabled, with a tooltip pointing to the upgrade. If you hit this, see This feature is not in your plan.

Note the difference: exporting an assessment report is available on every plan, because the report was already paid for with a credit. Only search-result export is plan-gated.
