What the Free plan includes

Every Demarka account without a paid subscription runs on the Free plan. There is nothing to activate and no card involved.

What “5 searches a month” really counts

Only a new query counts. Specifically:

• Paging through results you already have is free and unlimited.
• Filtering and sorting an existing result set is free.
• Re-running the same query in the same month does not count a second time.
• The allowance resets on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC.

So a careful session exploring one name thoroughly usually costs a single search.

What Free does not limit

Free accounts see complete results — every match, with all filters, sorting and pagination. That is deliberate: the search itself is not the paid part of Demarka.

Visitors who are not signed in are a different case: they see only the top few matches, with the true total shown above them.

Paid work on a Free account

Assessments and credit-funded monitoring work perfectly well on the Free plan — you just buy the credits directly instead of receiving them with a subscription. A credit pack needs no subscription and the credits stay valid for 12 months.

Downloading and sharing an assessment is also available on Free, because the report was paid for with a credit. Only search result export and sharing is reserved for paid plans.

When to move up

Consider a paid plan when any of these is true:

• You run more than five searches a month.
• You need to export or share search results with a client or colleague.
• You assess names often enough that included monthly credits are cheaper than packs — the billing page tells you when your pack spending has crossed that line.
• You want more than one monitoring slot.
