Monitoring slots and credit funding

Monitoring capacity is measured in slots. One slot watches one region — one country, or one region bundle such as the EU — for one mark.

The slot pool

Your plan gives you a pool of slots, shared across every monitoring job on the account (and across every team member, on team plans).

Pool-funded jobs run for as long as your subscription does. Nothing expires while the plan is active.

How usage is counted

regions = (region bundles selected) + (individual countries not inside a selected bundle)

Watching one mark across the EU bundle = 1 slot. Watching the same mark in Germany, France and the United States = 3 slots. Watching two different marks in Germany = 2 slots.

Slot packs

If you need more capacity than your plan gives, add a slot pack — a monthly add-on that enlarges the pool by +10, +25 or +50 slots. Packs stack, so you can add several, and you can cancel any of them at the end of a billing period.

Slot packs require a paid plan; they cannot be added to Free.

When you cancel a pack, its slots stay in your pool until the end of the paid period. After that, jobs that no longer fit are paused rather than deleted.

Credit funding

The alternative to the pool. Instead of occupying a slot, a job can be funded with one credit per region, good for 12 months. That job sits outside the pool entirely.

Credit funding is offered whenever the pool is full, alongside “buy a slot pack” and “upgrade”. It is the right choice when:

• You need one more watch and do not want a recurring add-on.
• You are on the Free plan and have used your single slot.
• The watch has a natural end — a launch window, a dispute you are tracking.

Credit-funded jobs show credits · until <date> under their status badge.

Renewal

Thirty days before the 12 months are up, Demarka sends a renewal notice by email and in-app. You can renew for another 12 months at one credit per region, or move the job into your slot pool if there is room.

If the term ends without either, the job is paused — its history and settings are kept, and one click restarts it.

When the pool shrinks

Downgrading a plan, or cancelling a slot pack, can leave you with more jobs than slots. Demarka never deletes anything. The newest jobs are paused with the reason “no free slot”, you are notified, and the oldest paused jobs resume automatically as soon as room reappears.

Which to choose

Use the pool for your permanent portfolio — your own registered marks, watched indefinitely.

Use credits for one-offs, overflow, and anything with a deadline.
