Getting started

Creating an account and signing in

Updated August 27, 2026

On this page

An account is free, needs no card, and unlocks full search results. Without one you only see the first few matches of any search.

Three ways to sign up

Google

The fastest route. Choose Google on the sign-up or sign-in screen, approve the prompt, and you are in. Your email is already verified, so nothing else is needed.

A 6-digit code by email

Wherever Demarka asks you to sign up mid-task — behind search results, at checkout — you can enter just your email and continue. We send a six-digit code; type it in and your account is created.

  • The code is valid for 10 minutes.
  • You get 5 attempts before the code is retired. Use Resend code for a fresh one.

An account made this way has no password. You can add one at any time when Demarka offers Set a password, which lets you sign in normally afterwards.

The full sign-up form

At /auth/signup you can fill in everything up front: preferred language, first and last name, phone and company (both optional), country, email and a password.

Passwords need at least 6 characters, one uppercase letter and one number.

You also have to accept the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. The marketing checkbox — tips and offers — is optional and can be withdrawn later from any marketing email.

Confirming your email

After a form sign-up we send a confirmation link. Until you click it, some emails from Demarka are withheld — assessment-ready notices, billing notices and monitoring alerts all require a confirmed address.

If the message has not arrived, check your spam folder first, then request a new link.

Signing in

Enter your email and password at /auth/signin. Remember me keeps the session going longer. Google accounts use the Google button instead.

Forgotten password

Choose Forgot Password?, enter your email, and we send a reset link.

  • The link is valid for 1 hour.
  • Requesting a new link invalidates the previous one.
  • For your privacy the screen always confirms the request, whether or not that email has an account — so a wrong address looks the same as a right one.

If your link has expired, just request another.

Choosing your language

Demarka’s interface is available in English, Ukrainian, German, Spanish, French and Italian. Set Preferred language during sign-up or later in your profile; the app switches to it automatically, and Demarka’s emails follow the same setting.

Your report language is a separate choice, made per assessment — see Creating an assessment.
