Monitoring
Monitoring statuses and what to do about each
On this page
Only Active jobs run. Every other state records why it stopped, so the app can offer the right way back.
Active
Running on schedule, twice a week. Nothing to do.
Paused by you
You pressed Pause. The job keeps its settings and history and simply does not run.
To resume: press Resume. If the job is pool-funded, there has to be room in the pool again; if it is credit-funded, its term has to still be running.
Paused — no free slot
Your monitoring slot pool shrank below what your jobs need. This normally follows a plan downgrade or a cancelled slot pack.
Nothing is deleted. The newest jobs are the ones paused. Demarka notifies you when it happens.
To resume, do any of:
- Buy a slot pack (+10, +25 or +50 slots per month).
- Upgrade to a plan with a bigger pool.
- Fund this job with credits — one credit per region for 12 months, outside the pool.
- Delete a job you no longer need.
The nightly housekeeping pass also resumes the oldest paused jobs automatically as soon as room appears, so freeing a slot may be enough on its own.
See No free monitoring slots for the dialog you get at the moment this happens.
Paused — credit term ended
A credit-funded job reached the end of its 12 months. Its history and settings are kept in full.
You were warned 30 days beforehand by email and in-app.
To resume: renew for one credit per region and another 12 months, or move the job into your slot pool if there is space.
Paused — trial ended
A free trial monitoring reached the end of its 60 days.
To resume: subscribe to a paid plan. Trial monitoring is claimed into your slot pool when you do.
Reading the badge
Under the badge, credit-funded jobs also show credits · until <date> so you can see the term at a glance. Pool-funded jobs show nothing extra — they last as long as the plan.
If a job is Active but you get no alerts
That is normal and usually good news: an alert is only sent when a run finds something new. Open the job’s run history to confirm runs are happening — you will see a row for every Tuesday and Friday, most of them with zero new items.
