Expired links and other common errors

“This shared page is no longer available”

The share link was withdrawn, or the underlying report was deleted.

Share links are switched off by pressing Share again — and switching one off kills that URL permanently. Re-sharing produces a different link; the old URL never starts working again.

If you own the report: open it, share it again, and send the new link. If you received the link: ask the sender for a current one.

Logo upload links handed out to AI assistants are short-lived, by design — they let anyone with the URL add files to your account.

Ask your assistant for a new upload link and drop the files again. Links only work for the account that requested them.

”This authorization request has expired”

The AI-assistant consent screen was left open too long. It has a 10-minute window.

Start the connection again from your AI client; a fresh consent screen opens. See Connecting an AI assistant.

Reset links last 1 hour, and requesting a new one invalidates the previous one — so an older email in your inbox will always fail. Use the most recent message, or request another.

An assessment that seems stuck

Assessments take minutes, not hours. If one is still processing much later:

  • Anything still queued after 2 hours is failed automatically and the credit is refunded.
  • In a bundle, countries finish independently. Some being ready while others run is normal.
  • Check Credit activity on the billing page to confirm a refund landed.

You do not need to do anything to trigger a refund; it is automatic and cannot be double-charged.

An assessment that failed

Failed jurisdictions are refunded automatically. The completion email says how many could not be completed.

There is one deliberate failure worth knowing about: if the analysis reports a meaningful conflict risk but cannot cite the actual conflicting mark, Demarka does not deliver the report — it fails it and refunds the credit rather than shipping a conclusion it cannot support.

Re-running usually succeeds. If the same mark and country fail repeatedly, contact support.

”Cannot export… wait for assessment to complete”

Exports need a finished report. For a bundle, at least one country must have finished. Wait for the notification, then export.

A search that failed

“We couldn’t complete your search. Please try again later.” Usually transient. Retry; if it persists, note the error code shown and send it to support.

An empty result list

Not an error — genuinely no similar marks were found for that name, in those classes, in those countries. Before treating it as good news, check the scope card above the results: a narrow class selection is the most common reason a search looks clean.

Something else

If none of this fits, contact support with the page you were on, what you were doing, and any error code displayed. Errors carry an identifier that lets us find the exact request.
