Emails and notifications you receive
On this page
Demarka sends two kinds of message: notices about your work and your account, and marketing. You can switch off the second kind without losing the first.
All email comes from [email protected], in your preferred language where a translation exists.
Account and sign-in
| When | |
|---|---|
| Email confirmation | You register, or request a new confirmation |
| Password reset | You use “Forgot password” — the link lasts 1 hour |
| Verification code | Quick sign-up — a 6-digit code, valid 10 minutes |
| Access link | A passwordless account needs to get back in |
| Team invitation | Someone invites you to their subscription |
Assessments
| When | |
|---|---|
| Your assessment is ready | A paid assessment finishes — with a country-by-country table of outcomes |
In-app notifications appear alongside these for each finished assessment, single or batch.
Monitoring
| When | |
|---|---|
| New trademarks found | A run finds new potentially conflicting filings |
| Monitoring renewal due | 30 days before a credit-funded watch expires |
| Monitoring stopped | A credit-funded watch has expired |
| Monitoring paused: no free slots | Your slot pool shrank and jobs had to pause |
A run that finds nothing sends nothing.
Billing and credits
| Notice | When |
|---|---|
| Credits expiring soon | Two weeks before purchased credits lapse |
| Your free trial ends in 3 days | Three days before a trial ends |
| Your free trial has ended | When it ends |
These arrive both in-app and by email.
The notifications centre
The bell in the header opens Notifications. Each row can be marked read or unread, or deleted; the footer offers Mark all as read and Delete all. Unread items show a dot.
Marketing email
Two things count as marketing:
- Trial monitoring reminders — before and at the end of a free trial watch.
- Search reminders — a summary of names you searched, sent at most once a week and only if you have not since ordered an assessment.
You opt in at sign-up. To opt out, use the unsubscribe link at the foot of any marketing email; it works in one click, with no sign-in.
Unsubscribing stops both. It does not stop monitoring alerts, assessment-ready emails, billing notices or anything to do with authentication — those are transactional and are never opted out of by law or by design.
If emails are not arriving
- Confirm your email address. Lifecycle, billing and monitoring emails are withheld from unconfirmed addresses.
- Check spam, and add
[email protected]to your contacts. - Check that you are expecting one at all — monitoring alerts only go out when a run finds something new.
