Chatting with and editing your report

Two tools sit on a finished report: a chat that answers questions about it, and an edit mode that rewrites it.

Chat about this assessment

A floating button on any finished assessment opens a chat panel scoped to that report.

Ask it things like:

• Why did the assessment land on this Registration Outlook?
• What are the biggest risks for this mark?
• How do I address the action items?

The chat only answers questions about the mark, country and classes covered by that report. Off-topic questions are politely declined — it is a reader for the report, not a general legal assistant.

Limits: 20 messages a day and 5 a minute per report. History is kept per report.

Availability: finished assessments only.

Edit mode

Edit mode lets a professional rewrite the analysis in natural language. You describe the change; the report is regenerated to match — outlook, risks, per-class scores and recommendations all kept consistent with each other.

Who can use it

Edit mode requires an active Legal/IP subscription — Solo, Practice, Firm or Enterprise. It is not available on Free or Flex. Team members on an eligible subscription inherit access.

It is not available on unfinished reports.

How to use it

Open the Edit tab beside Chat, describe the change, and press Apply edit. A rewrite can take up to a minute; you can close the panel and keep working.

Ready-made presets fill the instruction box for you:

• Change the Registration Outlook — pick Clear, Minor issues, At Risk or Critical.
• Set a class’s registration probability — pick the class and a percentage.
• On any cited mark: Change a cited mark’s risk (Low / Medium / High) or Remove a cited mark from the analysis.

Undo and revert

Nothing is lost. Undo last edit steps back one change; Revert to original restores the untouched AI output. An Edit history dialog lists every attempt and whether it was applied. An edited report is labelled as edited so readers know.

Limits

10 edits a day and 2 a minute per report; an instruction can be up to 2000 characters. Only one edit can be applied at a time.

Why edit at all

Two reasons in practice. An attorney who disagrees with the model’s weighting can correct it and hand the client a report that reflects their own professional judgement. And a mark that turns out to belong to the client can be removed from the conflict list rather than left there misleading everyone.
