The free trial

The trial exists so you can run real work before paying, not just click around.

What you get

• 14 days.
• No card required. Left alone, the trial ends on its own with nothing charged.
• 15 assessment credits and 3 monitoring slots.
• Every other feature of the plan you are trialling, unchanged.

Who can start one

• Available on Solo and above — not on Flex.
• Once per account, ever. If the option does not appear, the trial has already been used.

Start it from the pricing page: eligible accounts see Start 14-day free trial instead of Subscribe. One click starts it — there is nothing to decide up front.

Keeping the plan

While the trial runs, a strip at the top of the app shows how many days are left, with a button that carries your plan’s name — Keep Solo, for example. The same button is on the Billing page.

• Pressing it opens a secure page to add a card. Nothing is charged at that point.
• The trial carries on to its last day. On that day the plan’s price is charged and your subscription continues without a break.
• A confirmation arrives straight away, by email and in-app, with the date and the exact amount in the currency you will be billed in.
• Changed your mind? Cancel on the Billing page at any time before that date, and nothing is charged.

If you do nothing, nothing is ever charged.

What happens at the end

• Three days before it ends you get a reminder, by email and in-app, saying which outcome applies to you: without a card, that the trial ends with no charge and how to keep the plan; with one, the date and the amount of the charge.
• With a card on file, it is charged on that date and the plan carries on. Nothing to do.
• Without one, nothing is charged, you get a second notice, and the account drops back to the Free plan.

Nothing is deleted. Assessments you generated stay yours and stay readable. Monitoring jobs that no longer fit the Free plan’s single slot are paused, not removed, and resume as soon as you have capacity again.

Trial credits are plan credits, so any left over expire with the trial period.

Getting the most from 14 days

1. Run assessments on the names you are actually deciding between, in the countries you will actually file in.
2. Use the European Union as a single target rather than 27 member states — one credit instead of 27.
3. Set up monitoring on your existing registered marks; the first runs happen within days, so you see real alerts inside the trial.
4. If you are evaluating for a firm, try the report export and a share link — those are what your clients will see.

Subscribing straight away

You do not have to wait for the trial to finish. Upgrade on the pricing page starts the paid plan there and then: the trial ends at that moment, unused trial credits do not carry over, and the plan’s full allowance applies. This is also the route if you hold a promotion code — the checkout has a field for it, the add-a-card page does not. Free trial monitoring jobs are claimed into your slot pool automatically, so watches keep running without interruption.
